It's According to Your Faith, Be it unto You! ~ Matthew 9:29
Quiana Evans was born in Chicago, Illinois, where she lived for seven years before her family relocated to Oak Park, a small suburb on the Westside of Chicago. Quiana had what most people would consider to be a typical life, she lived in a great community with the love and care from family and friends.
At the age of 16, Quiana’s life was thrown into a “bit of a tailspin” when five of her friends died from tragic accidents, gang violence and murder (all separate incidents). She struggled emotionally with depression, anger, bitterness and rebellion, until one day her mother decided to get her some help – she took her to church, Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park, IL under Founder and Pastor, Drs. Bill and Veronica Winston. That day, a seed was planted in her life that Pastor Winston watered for many years through his anointed teachings.
At the age of 20, Quiana received salvation, was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. Her life is a testimony of what God can and will do if we have faith in Him and in His Word.
Quiana has truly developed into a virtuous woman of God who lives by faith and inspires others to do the same. She’s an ordained, licensed minister of the Gospel, a visionary leader, a conference speaker and a humanitarian.
She ministers the Word of God under a prophetic anointing with simplicity, accuracy and boldness. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University in Chicago, IL where she also served as Vice-President of Women in Technology, a networking organization for women working in IT. She's a valedictorian graduate of the Living Word School of Ministry and Missions established by Dr. Bill Winston and received her Masters Degree in Biblical Studies through Friends International Christian University.
In May of 2005, Quiana received a call from God to "restore and reconcile" His people. This Rhema word was then confirmed by dreams, visions and prophecy. Shortly after, she began ministering at local shelters and transitional homes for battered women. She was blessed with an opportunity to serve on the Evangelism Ministry, the Women's Ministry and Pastoral Care at Living Word Christian Center. She also served as the outreach leader for Power of Praise Non-denominational ministries along side her mother Pearl Holmes Thomas and her husband Tyrone Thomas.
Armed with the Word of God, a global vision and a heart to seek and save the lost, Quiana has taken a “step of faith" to fulfill the call on her life as a minister of reconciliation and a prophetic voice to the nations, serving men as unto Lord and advancing the Kingdom.
She is the proud wife of Steven Evans, a loving Mother to her son Kendall and daughter Kaylen.
Steven Evans a native of Chicago, Illinois, is a Minister of Reconciliation with a special anointing for Marriage Ministry. He's an ordained, licensed minister of the Gospel and is co-founder of Life Changing Faith Ministries. He plays a key role in managing the daily affairs of the ministry.
He, alongside his wife Quiana, have served in outreach ministry since 2001. It was during this time when they started serving the poor, feeding the hungry and clothing those who were homeless. He has helped coordinate several outreach efforts, the annual clothes drive for the battered women's shelter, the food drive event for a rehabilitation organization for those recovering from drug and alcohol addiction, the "Ambassador's For Christ" Evangelism Conference, the quarterly "in-reach" effort for family unity and many other programs currently in development at LCFM.
He and his wife are both members of Faith Ministries Alliance (a ministerial association led by Dr. Bill Winston) and they serve when needed to help Pastor in fulfilling the vision for Living Word Christian Center.
Steve is truly a "man after God's own heart" with a passion to see believers fulfill God's purpose and plan for their lives.
